In two previous posts: Were there giants on Earth? and Are fallen angels a rebellious group of representatives of an extraterrestrial civilization? I tried to solve the mystery of the existence of giants in the ancient past. In these posts I used the messages written in the Bible, in the Books of Genesis, Isaiah, Samuel and the apocryphal Book of Enoch.
Today I decided to expand my search for truth to other, ancient books and messages, which also provide a lot of interesting information about giants.
1. The deuterocanonical, and therefore apocryphal Second Book of Baruch, also known as “The Apocalypse of Baruch” or “The Remaining Words of Jeremiah” provides information about giants who were extremely strong, wise, and artistically gifted. Unfortunately, they were also morally depraved, which led to the destruction of almost all of humanity, due to the well-known flood.
Additionally, Baruch even provides the number of giants, born from the unions of “angels” (or observers) with earthly women, who inhabited the Earth before the flood, and their number is truly enormous:
“And God brought a flood upon the Earth, and destroyed all life, and 4,090,000 giants.”
Baruch writes that before the flood, there were over 4 million giants on the Earth!
2. The next book I will quote today is “Kebra Nagast” or Glory of the Kings of Abyssinia, describing the history of the Solomon dynasty (from relationship of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba – Makeda, the first king of Ethiopia – Menelik 1 was born).
According to information from Kebra Nagast, Cain’s daughters had intercourse with “angels”, became pregnant by them, and the large children resulting from these unions tore open the bellies of their mothers during childbirth. Many fetuses died, but those that survived became giants.
3. Arabic legends, which have their sources in the Near East, and common sources with biblical accounts, which originate from the Near East, speak of giants, the Adats. They were architects and builders, which was probably reflected in the ancient buildings in Mesopotamia.
4. Greek accounts, which many believe may have been borrowed from older Egyptian, Babylonian, and Sumerian cultures, speak of giants, titans, and heroes from ancient Greece. The giants were said to be the sons of Uranus (born from the blood that flowed from Uranus’ wound when he was maimed by Cronus) and Gaia, or of Tartarus and Gaia.
5. The apocryphal Book of Jubilees, which entered the Bible canon only in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, also provides additional information about giants.
Jubilees 5:1-3
1. And the children of men multiplied on the earth, and brought forth daughters: and in the year of that jubilee the angels of God beheld them, and found them comely: and they took to themselves wives all which they chose,
2. and they bare giants to them. And lawlessness began to spread on Earth, and all living things were corrupted, both people and cattle, wild animals, birds and everything that walks on the earth – all flesh went astray, became corrupt and began to commit iniquity and began to devour one another, and this iniquity was constantly multiplying, because the thoughts of men were
3. perverted by evil…
It is difficult to insist that ancient traditions are only allegorical content. It is also difficult to say that, despite the distortion of the tradition by time, ancient traditions do not contain the seeds of true stories.
It is safe to say that it is very likely that giants, hybrids of human women and visitors from other planets actually lived on Earth.
Was this really happen? No one can answer this question yet, and we can only believe it or not.
