Weapons of the Gods in Ancient India

In previous posts related to the topic of ancient India, I touched on the topic of “flying cities”, the bridge of the god Rama to Sri Lanka, and atomic bombs that could have been detonated several thousand years ago.

In today’s post, I would like to present several interesting weapons that the Indian Gods had, and whose operation amazes and disbelieves even us, people from the 21st century.

1. Adiparvan (or: Adi Parva), the first book of the Mahabharata describes a situation in which the god Agni gives the hero Vasudeva a strange weapon called a “chakra disc“, which is “wrapped in fire” and returns to its owner: “Having fulfilled its task, this weapon will return to you by itself.

Vesudeva used this weapon against his enemy Sushupala:

“The disc shield instantly separated the king’s head from his body and returned to Vasudeva’s hands.”

2. Another weapon in the Mahabharata worth mentioning is the “pashupat” given to Arjuna by the god Shiva:

“O mighty hero, I will give you my favorite weapon pashupat. But you must be careful not to use it wrongly. If you throw it at a weak enemy, it will destroy the entire world. There is no one who cannot be killed by this weapon.”

3. Another weapon that Arjuna received from God Kubera is the “antardhana“, which could put enemies to sleep. This is interesting because this weapon did not kill enemies, but only put them to sleep.

4. Drona Parva, one of the books of the Mahabharata, describes a weapon called “narayana“:

“A deafening roar filled the battlefield, the narayana weapon rose into the air, like hissing snakes thousands of arrows flew out of it, flying in different directions and falling on the warriors”.

5. Aunshana Parva, also one of the books of the Mahabharata, describes Arjuna’s use of advanced weapons:

“The weapons shot high into the air and flames burst from them like a great fire that will engulf the Earth at the end of its existence… …The whole Earth trembled.”

Here we have examples of descriptions, perhaps allegorical, perhaps real events, that were observed by people in ancient India. It is possible that unknown, powerful weapons were used in ancient India by “Gods”, i.e. extraterrestrial beings, as well as by their descendants, alien-human hybrids, called in many ancient societies as demi-gods or heroes.

It is possible that the descriptions of “flying cities” and “divine weapons” are nothing more than incomprehensible, advanced technology that we do not yet possess and do not understand, and that ancient people witnessed these extraordinary events, describing them in a simple, understandable way for them.

It will probably take a long time before we accept the fact that we are not and never been alone.
